This course of study will take us on an exciting exploration of the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Old Testament- Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These books are fundamental to the faith of Jews and Christians alike.
 
The Pentateuch establishes the progression of divine, recorded revelation. Matters of history, geography and cultural backgrounds will be examined in this study as well as questions of authorship, date, and literary issues. There will be a special focus on issue of origins, and the themes of messianic promise, sovereignty and holiness of God, and grace. Attention will also be given to the role of the Pentateuch as the theological foundation for the rest of Scripture.
